Terms of use

Updated October 26, 2026.

Anime Shuffle is an independent anime discovery and watchlist helper. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by MyAnimeList. It does not stream anime.

Optional support

Optional tips support hosting and development. They do not purchase features, recommendation priority, or a subscription. When available, checkout takes place with an external payment service, whose terms also apply. Contact the creator through that service for payment questions.

Using the app

Use only accounts you own or are authorized to access. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or misuse another person's data. MyAnimeList use also remains subject to its own terms and authorization choices.

Recommendations and watchlists

Suggestions and runtime estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check the anime details before deciding what to watch. Would watch saves a pick locally; adding it to MAL is a separate action unless you enable auto-add. Undo may be unavailable if the MAL entry changed or the session expired.

Availability and data

This project is under development. Features may change and the service may be interrupted. Browser data can be lost when you clear site storage. Keep your main watchlist on MyAnimeList if you need it independently of this app. The current account system has no password recovery.

Content and privacy

Anime titles, artwork and other third-party content belong to their respective owners. Display in this app does not grant permission to reuse that content elsewhere. See the privacy policy for how app data is handled.

Questions and bug reports can be directed to the project repository. Do not include credentials or private account details.
